Power is the bottleneck to everything

America is trying to win
four revolutions at once.
All of them run on power.

AI, defense modernization, manufacturing reshoring, and chip security are converging simultaneously on a grid that wasn't built for any of it. This is not four separate problems. It is one problem with four faces and power is the thread running through all of them.

Grid
More than half the US grid is at elevated or high risk of power shortfalls
13 of 23 regional assessment areas flagged by federal reliability regulators
Demand
Power demand is surging faster than at any point in modern history
AI data centers alone projected to add 224 GW of new demand by 2035
Chips
America's new chip factories are stalling because the power isn't there
CHIPS Act fabs facing construction delays due to grid capacity constraints
Supply
85% of new energy projects can't run when the grid needs them most
The interconnection queue is dominated by solar and wind not dispatchable baseload
"The nation that controls baseload power controls the data centers. The nation that controls the data centers shapes AI. The nation that shapes AI shapes the global order."
What We Do

Four pillars. One mission.

Nobody is holding the full picture across power, chips, AI, and defense. The Sovereign Grid Initiative does and acts on it.

01
Map the problem nobody has mapped

Specific, credible analysis of power bottlenecks, regulatory chokepoints, and what each revolution actually needs in real numbers. Not a vague warning. Actionable intelligence.

02
Hold the only neutral table

Convene chip manufacturers, utilities, defense contractors, AI companies, and policymakers who are not currently in the same room. The value is the coordination itself.

03
Turn coordination into policy action

Specific asks faster nuclear permitting, fuel recycling reform, onsite power deregulation, grid hardening pushed with one voice in a way no single industry can do alone.

04
Protect the public interest

Policy shaped only by industry insiders serves only industry insiders. The payoff for solving this flows to every American cheaper energy, cleaner water, stronger infrastructure, genuine independence.

"A modern abundant power grid is the interstate highway system of the 21st century."

When Eisenhower built the interstate system the stated purpose was national defense. The second order effects were transformational suburban growth, the trucking industry, economic integration across the country. Nobody could fully predict what abundant connected infrastructure would unlock. We are making the same bet for electricity.

This problem is too important to solve in silos.
